Notice of Public Hearing — May 14
The Town of Wilton Zoning Board of Adjustment will meet on Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. in the Wilton Town Hall Courtroom, 42 Main Street to hold hearings on the following cases and other business. Masks are required at all Wilton ZBA meetings.
The applications for these cases, and any other documents that may have been received by the ZBA in connection with them, are available for inspection in the Wilton Land Use Office.
- The Board will elect officers for the next year.
- The Clinton & Heidi Wilder Revocable Trust of 2022 has requested a special exception under section 11.4(a) of the Wilton Zoning Ordinance to allow a driveway to cross a wetland area to access a buildable area at the rear of the property on Lot D-133-2, Wilson Road. (Case #4/9/2024-1, continued from Tuesday, April 9, 2024)
- Caroline Petroules has requested a variance to section 5.2.3 of the Wilton Zoning Ordinance to allow the installation of an above-ground swimming pool that would be closer to a lot line than allowed by the Ordinance on Lot K-96-1, 23 Russell Street. (Case #5/14/2024-1)
- Mark Haman and Lee Muir-Haman have requested variances to sections 8.1 and 8.5 of the Wilton Zoning Ordinance to allow the construction of a single-family dwelling on Lot F-24, 369 Gibbons Highway, where residential uses are not permitted in the Industrial District. (Case #5/14/2024-2)
Application Deadline
The next Zoning Board meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, June 11, 2024. Any applications to be considered at this meeting must be filed in the Wilton town offices on or before Tuesday, May 28. See How to Apply for details.
